The Star Wars saga is not just the tale of Anakin Skywalker's rise, fall and redemption.

It is also the story of Obi-Wan Kenobi's life.

In the six movies, we see him grow and change, from Padawan learner to Jedi Knight, to Jedi Master, Council member and General of the Republic.

We witness to his triumphs, but also to his failures and to the tragedies that marked his life: the death of his master Qui-Gon, the destruction of the Temple and the Jedi Purge, and, of course Anakin's turn to the Dark Side.

The man leaving Mustafar is not less broken than the one left near the lava river and, just like Anakin, Obi-Wan will find peace and redemption in the netherworld of the Force, at the end of "Return Of The Jedi."

I have loved this character since the Original Trilogy, even if it has been the Prequel Trilogy to transform him in one of my two favourite fictional characters ever (the other is Maximus Decimus Meridius, from the movie "Gladiator").

The stories in this section are my modest contribution to the Star Wars fandom and legend and, while of different genres and ratings, they are all centered on the one and only Obi-Wan Kenobi.-Ilaria
